Some time after Thanos was defeated and Tony Stark’s sacrifice, Peter Parker returns to high school. Now, Peter is out to see the world with his classmates and is wanting to take a break from being Spider-Man. But his fun filled trip is suddenly sabotaged when a string of mysterious attacks by creatures called Elementals start wreaking havoc all over the world and story story story, blah blah blah blah…….we all know the story because we’ve all watched it(maybe a few haven’t) but in our sneak peak for today we highlight as usual those few details of things you saw(or didn’t see) yet you had no idea what they were..
Here is our sneak peak into Marvel’s spiderman: Far from home…..
Peter’s suitcase has the letters “BFP” on it. This refers to Benjamin Franklin Parker, Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben, whose death motivated him to use his powers responsibly.
The license plate on the car driven by Fury and Maria Hill is MTU83779, which references Marvel Team Up issue 83 from July 1979, called “Spider-Man and Nick Fury”.
Tom Holland wanted Jason Momoa as Kraven the Hunter in the movie.
When Peter Parker and his classmates are picked up at the airport, it depicts it being Newark Airport in New Jersey, USA, with the New York skyline in the background. In actual fact this scene was filmed at Stansted Airport in Stansted, Essex, UK. In order for it to look American, the vehicles were turned around by the entrance to look as though they were driving on the right rather than the left and the UK buses had their liveries changed too.
This is Samuel L. Jackson’s third consecutive MCU appearance as Nick Fury, following Captain Marvel (2019) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). This also the first time an MCU character has appeared in three films in one year.
It was reported that Matt Damon turned down the villain role.
It’s the twenty-third film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jake Gyllenhaal is almost never seen wearing anything other than his full “superhero” suit throughout. It was actually suggested to him he’d wear something else for certain scenes, but according to him, he genuinely liked wearing that suit so much he refused to wear anything else.
As Peter and MJ are swinging together for the first time through NYC as the movie closes, they pass a sign that reads, “We can’t wait … to show you… what’s next.” This phrase appears over “1…2…3…?”, a possible indication of the end of Phase 3 in the MCU and the beginning of Phase 4.
In the final battle, Peter makes himself a hammer-like weapon out of the debris of the Tower Bridge and the cars on it. Then he finds a large metal sign to use as a shield. When he starts running, he looks very much the same as Captain America did during the final battle of Avengers: Endgame (2019), running with his shield and Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir.
There is a license plate seen during the bridge scene, TASM 143, which references The Amazing Spider-Man comic #143, where Peter Parker goes to Europe.
Peter Parker: What’s your password?
Happy Hogan: Password.
Peter Parker: No, what is your password?
Happy Hogan: Password. The word spelled out.
Peter Parker: You’re head of security and your password is “password”?
Happy Hogan: I don’t feel good about it either.
I seem to be forgetting something but I would remember by the next post.
